Opportunity Knocks Medowie

Opportunity Knocks offers a wide selection of quality pre-loved clothing and accessories at affordable prices, all while supporting the local community. As a charity, much of the funds raised go towards the Food Way Medowie program, helping provide food security to those in need. Donations of good quality clothing, shoes, accessories, books, toys, and non-electrical household items are gratefully accepted. Donations can be dropped off in one of the three green clothing bins located around Medowie. Breakables can be evaluated for suitability during shop hours.

Salamander Bay Waste Transfer Station

Salamander Bay Waste Transfer Station is a Community Recycling Centre offering free disposal of household quantities of various items year-round. The station accepts paints, gas bottles, fire extinguishers, motor oils, other oils, car batteries, household batteries, smoke detectors, and fluorescent globes and tubes. This service helps the community safely dispose of hazardous materials, promoting environmental sustainability and responsible waste management.
