We are excited to share that the NSSN Grand Challenge Fund 2024 is now open for applications. This fund presents a unique opportunity to advance circular economy initiatives in the Hunter and beyond.
The NSSN Grand Challenge Fund aims to foster collaborative research projects addressing the NSSN Grand Challenges. This year, one of the key challenges is Clean Tech. Sam Ashby from NSSN highlighted the versatility of the grants to support projects that utilise “smart sensing in a low carbon economy including everything from renewables to circular economy and recycling innovations.” Grants of up to $100,000 per project are available to support developments that not only align with Clean Tech but also establish connections with industry or government partners.
This presents an opportunity for circular economy stakeholders to secure funding for projects that not only contribute to Clean Tech but are driven by the principles of the circular economy. Although the grant is not offered by our organisation, we believe it holds significant potential for Hunter Circular subscribers engaged in circular economy initiatives.
Applications close 5 pm on Monday, 19February 2024. You can find additional information on the NSSN Grand Challenge Fund webpage.
