Circular economy is a framework to use and manage materials required to meet the needs of society in such a way that does not deplete finite resources, retains value in closed-loop systems, and regenerates degraded ecological systems. The circular economy framework provides the following three guiding principles: eliminate waste and pollution, keep materials in use, and regenerate natural systems.
